Original version of “Juno Steel and the case of the murderous mask”
Back at the start of Season 2, we noticed a bit of a problem that’s common among long-running shows: our initial pilot felt extremely bizarre in relation to the rest of the story. On a characterization, style, and production quality level, the original version of “Murderous Mask” was no longer representative of either the Juno Steel series or The Penumbra Podcast on the whole.
The remake of "Murderous Mask" on our feed is the definitive version of this story, and a much more coherent and cohesive introduction to the Juno series as a whole. But we’ve decided to archive the original here, on our website, as a strange production curiosity -- a sign of what we thought this show might be before we figured out what it really was. Enjoy!
